Volunteer Opportunities--Before the Retreat
Thank you for your interest in volunteering to help with another fabulous Weekend Women’s Retreat. We are able to do what we do because of the generous gifts of talent and time from women like you. Planning and preparation are essential, so being a part of a volunteer team is greatly appreciated!
If this is your first retreat, we would love for you to allow us to serve you and have you to enjoy your time without responsibilities.
Please read the following descriptions of opportunities to serve. Let us know what you are interested in by signing up through the link just below the descriptions.
Communication Team
You will be part of the team that helps get the word out about the retreat. Part of your fun will be coordinating marketing times and events such as announcements, distribution of flyers and sharing details of the retreat with potential first-time attendees and past attendees.
Prayer Team
You will be part of the team that prays faithfully for the retreat every day. You may enlist others to pray with you. You will also write notes of encouragement to the Retreat Team, Session Leaders and Wordshop Facilitators.
Snack Team
You will help provide snacks and treats for the retreat. We will give more details of what is needed based on registration numbers.
Registration Coordinators
Our registration coordinators will assist with the set up and staffing of a registration/check-in table at the retreat. This team will also be assisting with the distribution of any initial retreat materials attendees will receive.
Volunteer Opportunities--During the Retreat
Worship Leader
You will be the person who leads in singing and worship and prayer at the beginning of some of the sessions. You don’t have to have an amazing singing voice to lead worship. You will need a love for God and His people!
Hostess/Greeter
Your warm, inviting presence will be the first thing our attendees experience as they arrive. What an awesome responsibility to help make them feel welcome!
Prayer Team
You will gather with women to pray daily for the entire retreat and for specific needs while at the retreat.
Speaker's Shepherd
You will attend to the needs of the Session Leaders. You will assist her in providing things such as water, passing out handouts, and being the timekeeper. You will also pray with her before her session starts.
